Common Questions
What is a Deductible?
A deductible is the amount of money a policyholder must pay out-of-pocket toward damages or a loss before their insurance company will pay for a claim.
So if the claim value is $10,000 and your deductible is $1,000 the insurance company will pay $9,000
Why it's Important my Contractor is Present During my Adjuster Appointment?
We are trained experts in identifying damage & building code requirements which helps the approval process.
What does GAF Certified mean?
C&N Construction is GAF Certified. It is a certification that is rewarded to companies with comprehensive training on the materials & the installation process.
Why choose a HAAG certified inspector ?
Haag certification requires extensive training on the inspection process & how to identify damage. It allows our inspectors to conduct more in depth inspections & come to conclusions with high credibility. It also serves as extra authority when going through the approval process with the insurance company.
How long do I have to Report Damage?
You'll want to get started on the claims process right away -- many policies limit the time you have to file a claim. Usually up to a year from your date of loss.
Building Code in My Insurance Policy?
Most property insurance policies cover all building code requirements. While going through the approval process, we make sure insurance is covering any building code requirements. This usually results in a upgrade to your current properties condition, also known as a building code upgrade. Ensuring that your property is up to code & that your insurance policy is covering everything they should, results in an upgraded property without any added home owner costs.
